PROFESSIONAL LEARNING, CONSULTANCY & SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS
I work in partnership with schools and educational organisations to strengthen leadership, enhance teaching and learning, and support sustainable school improvement. Rather than delivering one-off training sessions, I collaborate with leaders to design professional learning and consultancy that responds to each school's unique context, priorities and aspirations. My work combines evidence-informed research, international best practice and practical experience gained through more than 35 years in education.
Professional learning is tailored to meet the needs of each school and can be delivered online or in person through keynote presentations, workshops, leadership programmes, coaching, mentoring and facilitated planning days. Areas of expertise include International Baccalaureate programmes (particularly the MYP and DP/CP), instructional leadership, curriculum design, concept-based learning, assessment, inquiry, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), language and literature, language acquisition and the arts, coaching cultures, leadership development, and supporting school leadership teams, coordinators and middle leaders.
I also work alongside schools as a trusted consultant and critical friend, providing longer-term partnerships that support programme implementation, curriculum development, strategic planning, leadership coaching, accreditation and authorisation processes, school self-evaluation, and continuous improvement. My aim is to build capacity within schools so that meaningful change is owned by the people who will sustain it long after the consultancy has ended.
