Service Description
Supportive and personalised coaching designed for teachers who are new to IB education or beginning their journey within IB programmes or experienced, but in need of support. These sessions provide a confidential and encouraging space to build confidence, deepen understanding of IB philosophy and practices, and navigate the challenges of teaching within inquiry-based and concept-driven learning environments. Mentor coaching focused on areas such as planning and assessment, inquiry learning, classroom practice, student engagement, IB terminology and expectations, workload management, and developing confidence as an IB educator. Sessions are tailored to individual needs and aim to support teachers in becoming reflective, effective, and confident practitioners within international school settings. Sessions may focus on areas such as: -Leading and managing the MYP programme -Preparing for candidacy, authorization, and evaluation visits -Supporting curriculum development and collaborative planning -Developing effective assessment practices -Building teacher understanding and engagement -Managing workload, priorities, and leadership challenges -Strengthening communication with leadership teams and stakeholders -Developing confidence, clarity, and professional identity as an MYP Coordinator The mentor coaching approach combines reflective coaching conversations with practical guidance, professional insight, and tailored support to help coordinators grow as confident and effective instructional leaders within their school communities.
