This Think-In for DP coordinators and teachers focuses on the new interdisciplinary Extended Essay (first teaching 2025). The training is designed for those interested in finding out about the new EE guide (first assessment 2027). The Think-In will cover advice on practical strategies to manage the interdisciplinary EE process and to successfully guide and supervise students.


Session 1 - Unpacking the interdisciplinary option in the new EE guide step by step from the perspective of interdisciplinary thinking, we will discuss what's new and strategies for successful implementation, including, formulating good interdisciplinary EE research questions; understanding the new assessment criteria; interdisciplinary-specific advice; managing the EE process effectively and ensuring effective citation and referencing in the new interdisciplinary EE.
